Welcome to Ilsington Village Hall

Update Summer 2021

We are working with all of our regular users to provide a safe space for hire.

The Hall is unavailable for individual bookings as it is currently providing teaching space for pupils from Ilsington C of E Primary School.

Regular evening bookings will resume after 17th May.

Please contact your activity’s organiser for more information.

The Government have announced that we will move to Step 4 on the 19th July 2021

All restrictions will be lifted.

The village of Ilsington lies on the eastern fringe of Dartmoor, three miles from the A38, between Bovey Tracey and Ashburton.  Situated in the centre of the village, the hall is close to our Community Shop, St Michael’s church, Ilsington C of E Primary School, and the Carpenter’s Arms. The Hall includes a large main venue for meetings, parties and community functions (capacity 100), with a linked but separate meeting room that seats up to 25 people.  Outside there is a children’s play area and community garden.

If you wish to book the hall or the meeting room, see details and booking forms on the Bookings page, and check the Diary page to see when regular users are in the hall. Paper copies of the booking forms are available at Ilsington Village Hall.

The recent redevelopment of the hall allowed us to add a meeting room and a Community Shop.  This redevelopment project was part financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development 2007-2013: Europe investing in rural areas. the project was being delivered through Defra as the Delivery Authority.
